End of the 1st week

Opera music in the piazza tonight. Lovely! What a crowd, the piazza was full.

I had to leave early as I have been pushing myself a bit too much.
I knew this afternoon I was very tired, but I just didn't want to take a nap.
I learned my lesson.

Tomorrow, I rest.

I noticed that the the light in the house in the late afternoon is very beautiful. (there is indirect light in the house) It is orangey/golden, deep and soothing, I treasure that time of day.

I bought some linen napkins on sale today, only 5 euro each, that they make here in town. 

I started a book on Yeats, so far so good.  I will read more tomorrow.
